We have seen tremendous growth in each of our survivors through the provision of bi-weekly psycho-social support to:

SCHOOL GOING GIRLS UNDER AGE 21

HEALTH WORKERS AGED 25 - 50

PETTY TRADERS AGED 27 - 48

Learn about Ebola social services available to them (ie. Presentation from MSF Sierra Leone).

ACCESS

Access Eating Right & Well Being sessions based around holistic health care with Eton Foods that Heal consultant.

ATTEND

Attend field trips to Fresh Salone Farm to gain basic agriculture skills, and matching of women with internship programs.

GAIN

Gain Entrepreneurial & Business Capacity Building session with consultant Foday Sillah, where petty traders in the program after 12 sessions become eligible to receive seed grants to start or upscale their businesses.

EXPERIENCE

Experience workshops that focus on individual and communal healing, mapping of emotions, learning to dream and designing road maps to achieving dreams.

The Survivor Dream Project (SDP) is an organization based on community-generated solutions, dedicated to supporting women, girls and young men who have survived post-traumatic events. Our aim is to implement sustainable and impactful social change within their communities, where it matters the most.
